Accordion Method Half Square Triangle Class

We will create a 24" square pillow front using the Accordion Half Square method and learn how to make a placket zipper back.

Supply List:

Square ruler with a 45 degree line, minimum size 4 1/2"
Zipper foot
Regular stitching foot
26" or longer zipper
1/4" wide wonder tape
26" pillow form
Basic sewing supplies - machine, needle, rotary cutter (store machines and rotary cutter are also available for use during class)

Pillow Back - 3/4 yard fabric (will cut to one 24 1/2" x 12" piece and one 24 1/2" by 21" piece)
Pillow Front - Thirty six 5" squares: should be a variety of prints/solids. You can split the group in half and make groups of light/dark, warm/cool, brights/low volumes, etc. Bring several extra in case of mistakes

Prior to Class:
On the wrong side of each 5" square draw one diagonal line
