Closet Case Patterns Cielo Hack class

In this class you'll learn how to hack a popular pattern to transfer a summer-y top into a cozy winter sweater.  You'll also learn what changes are needed when you convert a pattern designed for wovens into one that works for knits, how to measure and create new necklines, how to convert a short sleeve into a long sleeved sweater.  In the first session of this 2 part class, you'll modify the original Cielo pattern and create a hacked pattern just for you.  That pattern will by styled with 3 different neckline options and you will pick one to cut out and sew.  In the second session, you'll sew up the hacked pattern with a knit fabric of your choice.

Supplies you'll need:

  • The Cielo pattern by Closet Case
  • 2 yards of 60" wide knit fabric (knits such as jersey, double jersey, sweater knit, ponte and sweatshirt fleece are all good choices)
